This is shreeya shukla and i travelled from Raipur to Bangalore airport on 3rd Dec, 8:25am.
My baggage got missing from raipur airport itself because it was not scanned in the check-in belt as there is no code stuck behind my boarding pass.
The baggage was a red colored SKYBAG with 4 wheels strolley bag which GOT MISSING FROM SOMEWHERE AFTER SCREENING AT RAIPUR AIRPORT because it is an unregistered baggage.
1). Also, a very irresponsible behavior is being noticed from the Bangalore airport INDIGO LOST AND FOUND STAFF. I was sitting there till 2 pm which is for 4 more hours after my flight landed and was requesting the staff over there to work asap because the bag has very important documents of mine but they were all laughing greeting each other rather looking into the issue asap.
2). Secondly, where is it written that the person who is being rage, his issues will be entertained first.
I am the witness, one couple standing in front of me had a similar issue and only beacuse they were all shouting, continuously compalining, ALL THE STAFF OF INDIGO BANGALORE AIRPORT WERE TOGETHER LOOKING INTO THEIR ISSUE.
NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS LOOKING INTO MINE. EVERYTIME, I USED TO ASK FOR ANY UPDATE, I HAVE BEEN INDORMED– MAM, IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME ( that is the only thing i am listening from Bangalore airport officials till now which is more than 24 hours since i registered my complaint).
People were collectively looking into another issue. Not a single person was concerned towards mine.
3). Enquiring the matter at BANGALORE AIRPORT, I FELT MENTALLY HARASSED. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 24HOURS AND I HAVE NOT GOT ANY UPDATES. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM AND THE THING WHICH I GET TO LISTEN FROM THEM IS THAT MAM WE NEED SOME TIME. atleast they should come up with some update. SINCE YESTERDAY, I HAVE BEEN IN MENTAL TRAUMA DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF AIRPORT OFFICIALS.
4). Shocking thing is that WHERE CAN A LUGGAGE GO FROM THE RAIPUR AIRPORT CAMPUS. The baggage entered the airport premises and it was being screened.
5). Nextly, this is very painful for the customers whose queries are not been entertained by the officials of such renowned airlines. I have been travelling from Indigo airline since past many years but now, knowing such rude, carefree and irresponsible behavior of the officials of the same airlines, i will have to think 100 times before travelling in INDIGO and also, will not encourage a single person to do the same.
Sir, I AM NOT GOING TO SHUT MY MOUTH AND I AM GOING TO POST THIS TO EVERY SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES.
6). This is not only the matter of baggage missing, rather also, a serious concern of security at the airports because all the luggage are supposed to be properly scanned and checked-in before transferring it to the respective flights. If my luggage was not checked-in, it should be there in the RAIPUR AIRPORT ITSELF. Where has it gone! MIRACLE IN INDIGO AIRLINES!!
7). I have been mentally harassed because I have been calling the raipur airport person and bangalore airport person as well and noone is providing me any concrete update rather, just random things are being told to me by different airport authorities which i am going to list below-
a) While I was sitting in the lost and found dept. of Bangalore airport, they contacted the raipur officials (which took more than 2 hours to just contact raipur airport, which I guess there job is to daily contact different airport officials) ,and raipur airport officials checked and whatsapped a pic of red strolley bag having a big name tag at the below which look similar to mine. I repeat similar not the same. So then, i was being told by bangalore airport officials that raipur people are telling that this might be the case that the random guy whose red bag it was, took my bag and hence it has been exchanged with that guy.
So now, after listening this, i requested bangalore people to contact that guy whose name was mentioned there over the luggage with all upper case letters and find out if this is really the case.
Bangalore people were just behaving irresponsible towards the same saying mam,this is not what we can do, we have asked raipur people to contact the guy, raipur officials are not receiving calls, we ll get back to you while you go back and relax.
My query was that why you cant contact a person with whom you are saying that your luggage got exchanged. Why?? It is your duty right? To solve the miseries of the passengers travelling from your renowned airlines.
b). Secondly, because bangalore people were not coming up with any updates, i thought calling raipur officials and requesting them to please contact that guy whose red bag’s photo they had whatsapped which was found in lost and found dept of raipur airport. So then, the person received the call and i got to listen that there was no red baggage found in raipur lost and found section.
Then how is possible that a guy whatsapped the bag’s pic to Bangalore officials and the next moment, raipur officials are denying the fact that they found a red baggage in the raipur lost and found dept.
c). Some of my relatives went to raipur airport and they have been informed that they have seen the CCTV footage and noticed that the baggage got missing from one point.
I have been calling raipur airport officials to please check the CCTV FOOTAGE AND UPDATE ME WHERE THE BAGGAGE IS.
So now they are giving random replies and each time i call, a different person receives the call and asks the whole thing from scratch. How many more times do I need to tell the color, and details of my bag and also the complaint?? Why am I not getting any updates from the airport officials?
Is is that difficult for you guys to help the passenger who have been trusting you?
d). The very next thing is one of the random things being told by the airport officials—-
Is was being informed to my relatives at the raipur airport that this might be possible that my luggage would be in Hyderabad airport as there is a connecting flight from raipur to bangalore via hyd.
When I got in contact with the Bangalore officials, they completely denied saying your luggage must not be there in HYDERABAD.
SIR/MAM, THE PASSENGERS SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH A CONCRETE UPDATE, NOT RANDOM THOUGHTS WHICH THEY ARE GETTING IN THEIR MIND.
The bag has my very important documents and the things with which I am mentally attached and hence, i have been in trauma since yesterday because i guess, noone is working on my issue.
Very pity attitude of airport indigo officials!
I regret choosing and travelling from indigo airlines.
Description of the bag – a red colored 4 wheeler strolley bag of SKYBAGS HAVING A PHILLIPS HAIR STRAIGHTENER IN THE FRONT LOWER ZIP.
I REQUEST THE CONCERNED AIRPORT INDIGO AIRLINES AUTHORITY TO PLEASE SEE THE CCTV FOOTAGE AND UPDATE ME ASAP. FYI I LL NOT KEEP CALM SIR TILL MY ISSUE IS RESOLVED.
