I had a confirmed booking of a room at the Hotel Richa Palace booked via Oyo rooms portal. The booking was for the 10th of November 2019. When I reached the hotel the receptionist denied me a room stating that they have no information from Oyo regarding the booking and secondly all rooms are occupied. It was around 10 pm and I was wandering on the streets trying to contact the oyo help portal. After a lot of effort, the call got connected and the customer care executive escalated the booking to another hotel named " Palak Guest House" in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. It was around 7 km from the previous hotel and charged me around Rs 250 in a taxi. This place had very dirty rooms with choked drains in the bathroom. Waste was spread all over the room. It was around 12 midnight and no one was available for housekeeping. I somehow managed to stay there for a night. It was a horrible experience and I want a compensation from Oyo for spoiling my time, money and that whole ni! ght.
