This is regarding my DTH. My relationship no is 3005671844.
I have got two connections at my place. For last 2 days I have not been receiving signals in both the boxes. I tried restarting the set top boxes multiple times, reinserted the card multiple times, but it did not work. There is no issue of weather in Thane.
So I called up the customer care no today evening at about 7 PM. The executive asked me to restart the set top box which i had already done. So he told me that an engineer will visit the site and Rs 150 will be charged as a company policy.
I find these charges absolutely wrong as there is no fault of mine. I have paid for the service, and to provide the service, Airtel has provided some equipment which was also chargeable. Now if there is an issue with the service, why should pay to your engineer? Airtel can solve my problem online, I don’t have an issue. But if it can’t, why should I pay. It is Airtel’s obligation to provide me the service for which I have paid the money. It is not about Rs 150, it is about the righteousness.
PS: At the end I asked the executive to let me speak to his supervisor, to which he said that he is busy on another call. I then asked the executive to take my request to discontinue the services of DTH to which he said that he has taken down my request and I will get a call for the same. I WAS NOT ISSUED ANY TICKET NO.
I want to add VH1 and 9XO to my dth. No <3003456505>. As i have readed on Airtel’s site, the mentioned things is "mobile no. not registered, then sms ADD AM <Id no.> to 54325". Even after doing this, the text message is not sending on the given no.. What should i do now?
I here Nitisha A. Rathore want to complaint about Airtel DTH .My customer ID is 3011228388. I have done a recharge of Rs 246/- on 24/11/2017 (evening).The recharge amount had been deducted from my bank account but the activation has been not done till date (error 6). I have contacted the customer care services several times, and they informed me that they didn’t got any such intimation for recharge.They register a complaint on 25/11/2017 and its reference no is ‘68049945’. But no revert back is received regarding update for your side till date. Again when I called customer care asking for the e-mail or a message from their side that they did not got any intimation for recharge as my bank account record clearly shows Rs 246.00 debited from my account for dth recharge. Its like mental harassment that even after doing the recharge my DTH connection is still now activated.
Kindly check at your end and please revert whether you have received the amount and if yes that activate the channels or I will have to take the legal action against AirtelDTH.
Under Customer Id 3005239435 in my name the monthly pack charges have been increased from 366 to 370 and now to 399 without any intimation. When customer care was contacted they have told that my mobile no is not correct. I requested to update my mobile no and it was reloaded. But it is pathetic to say that I received the message of removing and uploading the same no. I am not happy with the services of the company as the rates of same monthly pack are being increased frequently. If the rental of my present pack is not kept as Rs 366 , I will be forced to change the company.
Worst Service and Customer Care support.
Took payment but service not activated, when called customer care they are saying server is down.

Airtel Dth have activated a miniplex topup on my Dth without my permission and have deducted 60 rs for my account. They sent me a confirmation message for activation of top up but I did not activate it. They activated it without my permission so take some step against it and I want my refund.
I have got a call from Airtel customer care for continue my DTH services, I have to recharge my DTH system with 160 rs and that money will be used after I switch ON set top box but that money is deducted on daily basis from my account.
when I complained to customer care they said you have to call us before any recharge then only we will entertain you.
this is kind of fraud by Airtel.
Requesting your support in getting my amount back.
I have moved to Mumbai a few days ago and Airtel refuses to instal DTH at my house as I don’t have the PIN code number. I have given full address – it is Lokhandwala complex, kandivili east and still they declined.
Can they decline as per law? If not then, I am prepared to go to court.

Never buy Airtel DTH. It has pathetic service. I don’t have the energy to write right now as I had a very heavy fight with the customer care guy, Inderpal. They mislead and cheat their customers by giving wrong information. Airtel has become f***ing cheap. Jai Jio
