I am an EX Sgt IAF, My CSD smart cards were initially issued from Jodhpur. On completion of its ten years of life the same needs to be issued afresh. Presently I am residing at Lucknow and having no connection with Jodhpur. I have visited Surya Canteen Lucknow and Sub Area HQ for the purpose, after a great struggle a common answer is given that I need to personally visit Jodhpur and either get the cards issued from there or transfer Soldier Board’s registration and get fresh registration at Lucknow Soldier Board, then process for the card issue at Lucknow. I have all required documents in original i.e. PPO, Discharge Book, EX SM Identity Card, phased out CSD Cards, PAN Card etc.
It is requested that I may kindly be advised as to how to get my CSD Cards re-issued without visiting Jodhpur.
THE APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF CANTEEN SMART CARD WAS SUBMITTED AT PATHANAMTHITTA (OMALLOOR) CANTEEN . THE STAFF AT OMALLLOOR CANTEEN SAYS THE RENEWED SMART CARD IS NOT RECEIVED SO CANTEEN FACILITIES WILL BE DEPRIVED TILL THE NEW SMART CARD IS RECEIVED. SIR, IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO ISSUE THE CANTEEN ITEMS WITH THE OLD SMART CARD AND THE COUNTERFOIL OF THE APPLICATION ? A GOOD NO OF EX-SERVICE MEN ARE DEPRIVED OF THEIR QUOTA AND OTHER FACILITIES . PLEASE CONFIRM WHETHER IT IS AS PER THE DIRECTION OF MINISTRY OF DEFENCE OR IS IT THE LOCAL MANIPULATION ? MANY EX-SERVICE MEN ARE AWAITING TO GET A CLARIFICATION IN THIS REGRDS….

Most respectfully, I would like to inform that I am drawing my liquor quota from CSD namely BENGAL TIGER CANTEEN at sub-area, Kolkata.
It is found that out of 4 bottles quota only one bottle of scotch can be booked in a month. In regards to only scotch quota, I have put my humbly suggestion in the month of May’17 at BTC, Sub-Area. I visited CSD, Bengal Tiger Canteen today dated 13.06.2017 and found no endorsement of my suggestion by any authority. So, I had no other alternate to write a soft reminder to my above issue regarding increasing monthly scotch quota atleast 3 bottles instead of one in a month.
It may worthy to mention that now a days life style of of every active Defence personnel as well as ESM got some changes due progressive of various aspects in the world where India is not out of world. Where in CSD, individual choice is restricted, if I can effort from my earning to take costly liquor against my quota where I am not asking or snatching anything which is not entitled or giving anything without any cost.
It’s like a PBOR so I have no right to lead a good life nor he can’t enjoy certain good liquor from CSD for his day to day life.
I also don’t know how & which basis this was under policy. If at all then time has come to review the old policy to give a good life rather not depriving PBOR and get some extra benefit to others may be.
In view of above, your honour is requested to increase monthly scotch quota like me for PBOR atleast from 1 to 3 bottles per month with immediate effect.
Your all co-operation in this issue will be highly solicited.
