On 24th March, I was travelling from Howrah to Kharagpur in Azad Hind Express. I had booked a general express ticket. As per my knowledge, second class coach seats are supposed to be occupied in first come first serve basis. Arriving at the station, I saw a very well organised line meant for boarding second class compartment being guided by 2-3 railway police. I was pleasantly astonished and my faith in Indian railways and people’s sensibility was restored, for a short while till I entered the railway coach. I must say that the coaches were not at all overcrowded (second class expectation) and by the time I arrived, getting a good seat was easily possible. But I found a man there allotting seats!!! The different coups were being guarded by men and they were charging people for seats. It was night time and since being a girl, travelling in a local train at that hour was not an option, I paid extra money for a seat, even though I had ticket and there were free seats avail!
able. Surprisingly, just outside the window, there were railway police, TTEs and inside, these people carried on their seat trading with full confidence. It’s just impossible that the railway police and employees had no clue of their activities. so complaining to them about it seemed futile at that time.
Yesterday we traveled from Erode to Chennai central in Raptisagar express. It was the worst travel I have seen. We booked four sleeper class tickets but in our berth there were ten passengers whom among them were from general compartment.
Even the TTR didn’t questions them and we can’t even walk to the toilet where people sit till to the toilet door.
Also they use our seats to sleep and we with kids couldn’t travel peacefully.
Also train cleanliness is very bad that no water and no lights working even in our coach.
Dear Indian railway., I am currently traveling in sleeper coach in Kanyakumari express- 16526. It is so sad to inform you that passengers can’t sit in the traindue to the bad smell of drainage waste. We are travelling in train because of the affordability and access. Even though all the compartments are new and neat and clean the smell is too bad.
Passengers are travelling in it because they have no other option. Please solve the issue so that the passengers can travel without any issue.

My atvm card no. CR 1434575 is showing expired on 20 nov 2018 However the same is having some balance. The railway official BYCULLA railway counter informed me that when the card is expired the same can not be used and the balance amount of card is always forfieted. When I asked him to atleast cancel the card and refund my security deposit and balance amount, he has declined to do so since the amount is meagre. I have booked my bike on 14th December 18 through Aishbagh Railway Station , bike was loaded on 16th December but not received till date. I am continuously calling the authorized personals but they are not giving any satisfactory answer instead of giving me answer they are behaving ridiculously. Please see to it. Yesterday I was travelling from vizag to src by the train no. 22854 when I was at simhachalm station train was passing it was smelling very badly. when i boarded the train same smell I found inside the train. There could be two reason 1) septic tank are not cleaned out side and other one could be that our coach no S2 bathroom pipe are broken as a result water is flowing out and we found S2 we come without watter int he bathroom.
apart from the conductor of the ad coach refuse to give complaint book he said it has to be one online no book is available with him. Finding no alternative i have complaint via sms from my mobile no. 9830151555

Near mambalam railway station there are two parking lots available. One behind the passenger reservation counter and other near railway station. The lot near the railway station is lying vacant for the past 1 and half years. It seems that railway authorities didn’t float tender to find a contractor to maintain the parking lot. In the parking lot behind the passenger reservation counter, the contract of the contractor got expired on 31st October 2018. The railway authorities have pasted the notice that public can park the two wheelers at their own risk. Since the parking lot is being used by hundreds of two wheeler users will the railway authorities take necessary steps to find suitable contractors to maintain the parking lots and ensure the safety of the two wheelers and bicycles.
Not opening AC 1 Coach door
I had a confirmed ticket in AC1 tier to travel from BANDIKUI to DELHI in Train No.12462, Mandor express, on 18-11-2018. Ticket
PNR no.2616346409, Boggie HA1, Berth No.7. The Scheduled arrival time at BANDIKUI Station is 02.22 hrs and when the train arrived at the station nobody opened the doors of all ac coaches so that I could board the train.When the train is ready to move I ran to a S 1 coach where a rpf Staff had opens the door and some how I could board the train after that i pull chain then i board the train along with my wife and our luggage. after the board rpf staff try to open AC Coach but no one open the coach door. after that i and rpf staff going to S2 coach
and meet to other sleeper class tc he was make a call to AC Coach TC and he request him please open the ac coach door on urgent. after 40 minutes a attendant come & open the door. i was board in ac coach along with my wife With lot of hardship I managed to carry my luggage to the HA 1 AC compartment.in the ac coach TC sleeping in coach so I asked him why you have not opend the door when you are aware that passengers has to board the train.He shouted at me and said it is not my duty to open the doors and I may ask the complaint book about the matter.i talk to him the matter and asked him who is responsible for opening the doors of the compartment at such odd hrs so that the passenger could board the train.But to my surprise, the TC use abuse language & he is ask me that what is your cast. He is saying ”jyada kanun mat chod” bahut dekhe hai tere jaise.
The TC spoil our hole journey so i leave the coach and travel in general coach.
May I get a reply from the Indian Railways informing me who is responsible for this matter and I also suggest to punish such irresponsible employees so that such matter should not repeat anymore.
