Yatra.com Booking cancelled after 1.5 month of booking

This complaint is for our booking with booking ID(yatra reference number) 2709743258480. This booking was done in september 2017 for joe & marietta guest House Calangute goa from 23 Jan 2018 to 27 Jan 2018 and got the confirmation from yatra.com on our email , confirming our booking.
We were informed telephonically on 4th nov 2017 by the owner of the guest house that room is not available on that particular dates.
On calling the customer care of yatra.com we were again got assurance that your booking is confirmed and reassured that they have recieved an acknowledgment from the owner of the guest house for confirmed booking.
When we again called the owner for availability(as told us by yatra representative), he responded the same thing and he will talk with yatra.Then, we recieved a call from yatra representative on 6th of nov 2017 that our booked guest house Joe & Mareitta guest house is not available on these particular dates 23 jan 2017 to 27 jan 2017 as it was already booked and there was some error by your website(which is not our fault), and told us to give them 24-48 hrs for alternative hotels or cancel the book and take the refund.
Now even after 5 days i.e., on 11 nov 2017 we are not provided by any list of other alternative hotels as we were told telephonically. Now we are told that they are unable to find any suitable hotels/guest house for us and told us to find the good hotels by ourselved only.
Within the meantime we also send them emails raising the issue on their email ID [email protected] but we did not recieved any reply through mail other than the system generated mail telling ‘kindly accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused to you and we regret the same’. When we call the representatives they only tell us to give them some more time for alternative options and the clock is ticking and all the options are going from our hand day by day.
They are giving us the option to cancel our booking and they will give us the full refund but our problem is since that is the peak season time in GOA, all the good hotels are already booked and those which are left, their rates are double of what they were in September.
This is a very unprofessional treatment towards the customer from yatra website. As per their website booking rules once the consumer gets a confirmation voucher in email there is no need for further confirmation from the property owner.
The fault is totally from the website’s end and now they are making the customer suffer without any fault of the customer.The refund which they are providing me will be of no use of mine as I will not get any good hotel in that amount at this time.
Now if they want to cancel my booking they have to refund me double the amount since the rates have double of all the available hotels from september, so that I can find a suitable accomodation for four days.
Why the customer should bear the financial loss when the error is from the website’s end.
