Zara Refuses to Exchange Zara in Elante Mall Chandigarh Refuses to Exchange

I went to Zara in Elante Mall Chandigarh on 29th Apr 2018 and bought a khakhee coloured shift without collar for INR 1799 at nearly 7:30 PM on full price. As the size was not appropriate, I went to replace this shirt on 1st May 2018 at 8:00 PM to get the next bigger size. But the store manager refused shift exchange as I was not having the invoice with me, although I still had the dress tag. This exchange did not involve any refund of money, yet your manager refused to help out. I was very upset with the store manager’s reply that I placed the shirt in the waste bin lying next to the payment counter.
Your company must learn how other major fashion brands are making changes to their customers related policies and giving emphasis on Convenience and Customer delight. Brands linen Tommy Hilfigure, Decathelon, etc. dig out all transaction data just using mobile number.
I was regular with Zara for my wife’s clothing needs, however this bitter experience seems like an end of it.
I have seen blogs of many others raising the same exchange policy issue, however, so far no corrective action seems to be initiated by Zara management. Hope the senior management will make necessary changes to the exchange policy start treating the customer with care.
