Tree House High School, Malad Complaint - School closed down, did not refund the deposit paid

Dear Sir,
I took admission of my Son in Tree House High School, Malad in 2013. As the School's building was under construction in Malad Mumbai, the School had rented a building in Oshiwara, Andheri West. The School had charged a one time deposit of Rs. 25,000 in 2013. In 2016 the School decided to close down & Parents were asked to take admission elsewhere. The School had also promised to refund the deposit paid.

In April 2017 the School insisted that Parents give a letter that the decision to leave School was Parent's and refused to issue Leaving Certificate otherwise. Our Children's future was at stake. Hence Parent's gave such a letter & the Leaving Certificate was issued.

I paid the deposit amount of Rs. 25,000 as follows: Rs. 10,000 via cheque & the remaining Rs.15,000 via cash in 2013. The deposit amount of Parents who had paid in cash was not refunded by the School.

Sir, it is my hard earned money & I require it to pay deposit in other school that I am taking admission in. The School has just showed how it could gain undue advantage by having an upper-hand on Parents like us.

I request your intervention, advise & support.

Please find attached the email interaction with the School.
